The Isle of Man Home of Rest for Old Horses
A Manx Registered Charity, with the primary objective of providing a sanctuary and peaceful retirement home for old or injured horses, ponies & donkeys at the end of their working lives.
Set in over 90 acres of land, the Home currently cares for over sixty horses and ponies and eleven donkeys. The home has looked after hundreds of horses during their time and it still going from strength to strength.
The home now has modern wooden fencing, a wonderful café serving homemade cakes, scones, teas and coffees and a Gift Shop.

Meet the Animals
Jet first came to the Island aged 3/4 years old from an international carriage driver in the North East if England. He was such a gentleman, in and out of the saddle, with beginners to dressage competitors. He has been a great companion for his 2 legged and 4 legged friends alike. He retired due to health issues including arthritis.
